Top Tips and Home Remedies to Maintain Liver Health!!

Liver is the most vital organ of the body which performs a variety of functions. A healthy liver is a sign of healthy body. You can keep your liver in a healthy state by following certain simple tips:

• Avoid taking tea and other beverages

• Practice yoga and breathing exercises everyday to keep liver and other body organs healthy from inside and outside. Anulom, vilom, bhadrika, kapalbharti are beneficial in keeping your whole system healthy.

• Drink plenty of fresh and clean water which will keep your body system clean

• Avoid consumption of alcohol as it hampers liver health

• Consume cow’s and goat’s milk instead of buffalo’s milk

• Avoid taking excess of salt and sugar in the diet

• Try taking protein rich foods like pulses, eggs and fish in your diet

• Avoid fatty and oily foods

• Try taking green vegetables, fruits like cucumber, carrots, spinach, and papaya etc

Furthermore there are certain herbal home remedies which can cure liver problems like-

• Take juice of 2 raw oranges once a day for a week.

• Take papaya seeds extract and add a teaspoonful of lime juice in it. Take it once a day

• Make a mixture of spinach and carrot juice in the ratio 1:1. It will be beneficial in treating liver cirrhosis

• Make a mixture of honey and bhringaraj by adding 2 teaspoons of juice of bhringaraj and 2 teaspoons of honey. This should be taken twice a day (half in the morning, half in the evening)
